Developer
Days – a
combination of training and consulting
If
you have a small group of developers, a particular development
problem
or set of problems you need help with, or you want help
with getting an application off the ground, you may find our “Developer
Days” of interest. Developer Days are a combination of training
and consultancy whereby we teach topics of your choice from any
of our courses, but rather than spending the practical time on
our standard course exercises you spend the time working on your
own application.
We’ve
had great success with this in the past. Students can immediately
apply their newly acquired knowledge directly to
their own applications, saving development time and reinforcing
important concepts under the guidance of an expert developer /
trainer.
One
thing that we feel separates WebTech from our competition is
the real world
experience of our trainers. All of our trainers
are developers first, and trainers second. That’s not to
say they are not good teachers as well; they are, but only developers
like yourselves can understand what’s important for real
applications and what’s best left in a text book. No need
to waste your time reviewing things you already know.
Take
a look at some of our testimonials or
review some case studies from the many applications we’ve
developed. You’ll see a breadth of experience second to none.
Developer days can save your company money. You can focus on the
exact topics your developers need to know, and actually perform
productive work on their own applications during the sessions.
Developer days can work in several ways:
- A small group of developers from the same company can spend a
day or two with one of our expert developers reviewing specific
topics of interest, and applying them directly to their own applications.
- One
developer from a company can have a one on one session with one
of WebTech’s
developers where the student can choose very specific topics
they want to focus on.
- A small group or one developer might want to get a fast start
on a particular application they need to develop.
- As an alternative to a standard course for developers who feel
confident in their ability to learn quickly and want a faster paced
course, progressing at a speed they dictate.
Get in touch if you think you can benefit from any of these scenarios.
